Here's an example of how bad things got when a micro-burst with straight-line winds came through and kicked our butts right smartly.
This is on my street BTW..A few house down where i live... This tree strained the power lines so much It cracked a pole almost in two.
Almost 20+ trees were downed all over town causing line breakage and some house damages
Erratic power outages ... and thankfully just one injury.
This was the worse storm we've seen for a while..and it could've been even worse.
Although my power was restored by 10 that night....Others didn't get restored til Late Weds/Early Thurs.. but again it could've been worse.
Wild times are a rocking folks....And my heart goes out to the one injury.
